Mayumi Hirano
Mayumi Hirano is an independent curator, researcher and translator based in
Osaka, Japan and Manila, Philippines. She received her Master’s degree from
Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York and is the co-founder of
98B COLLABoratory, a multi-disciplinary space in Manila for experimental art
projects. After her curatorial experience with Yokohama Triennale (2005) and
Koganecho Bazaar (2008-2012), Mayumi is currently focusing on researching and
writing about contemporary Southeast Asian art practice. She was an Asian
Public Intellectuals Fellow (2013-2014) in the Philippines and Thailand, worked
as a researcher for Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong (2007-2008) and organised the
“Alternative Route” (2013 and 2014), a symposium held in Yokohama that gathered
alternative and independent art spaces from Asia. Her most recent curated
exhibitions include “The Lizard Says You’re a Liar!”, an international group
exhibition in Vargas Museum in Manila.

平野真弓
キュレーター、リサーチャー、翻訳家。現在、大阪とマニラを拠点に活動している。ニューヨーク州バードカレッジ・センター・フォー・キュレトリアル・スタディーズ修士課程修了。マニラにアートスペース「98B COLLABoratory」を共同設立し分野横断的な企画を開催。横浜トリエンナーレ（2005）、黄金町バザール（2008-2012、横浜）でキュレトリアルの実践を積み、現在は東南アジアの現代美術の研究に取組んでいる。アジア・パブリック・インテレクチュアル・フェロー（2013-2014）、アジア・アート・アーカイブ・リサーチャー（2007-2008）としての調査活動の他、アジアのインディペンデント・アート・スペースをテーマとする国際シンポジウム「迂回路」（2013、2014、横浜）の企画開催を手がけた。最近の企画展にフィリピン大学ヴァルガス美術館での「The Lizard Says You’re a
Liar!」がある。
